Shaping stories, fostering relationships, and creating authentic connections is my passion. People are core to business and success is found in honest relationships.
After more than 25 years in the corporate and agency world, I began consulting full-time with a focus on media and community relations. I also serve as an adjunct Professor at Marist College and NYU as part of my personal commitment to mentor young people starting their careers.
My career began on the PR agency side with Howard J. Rubenstein Associates in New York City before moving to Cohn & Wolfe, and Taylor Communications. From there I moved in-house to Chelsea Piers Sports and Entertainment Complex, where I spent nearly two decades as Vice President, Corporate Communications and Neighborhood Relations. While serving in senior leadership at Chelsea Piers, I oversaw the three facilities’ media and neighborhood relations, crisis management communications, and served as the company spokesperson.
I have a passion for connecting with people and discovering their stories. Authentic narratives are among marketing's most powerful tools, delivering impact, purpose, and meaningful messages. When shared with genuine enthusiasm, these compelling accounts naturally spread and resonate with others. From customers and employees to products and services, I'm constantly seeking out impactful stories. This curiosity and drive align perfectly with media relations, where journalists have dedicated their careers to the art of storytelling. My enthusiasm extends to mentoring those beginning their careers, helping them develop strong communication skills and understand relationships in business success.
